First devlog :)


Thank you all for the feedback last time! I've been working hard on the game, and would like to showcase some new things added or changed. I would love to hear your thoughts on them! (After you play around with them, of course)

  • You can now see which ponpai are going to move next, and in what order!
  • Three new ponpai, bringing with them several new moves! Put enemies to sleep with Phantasy, clear out stage traps with Dyesel, and transform into the enemy with Mutarrion!
  • You can run from battles! There's a 20% chance you can't escape, but just try again with the next ponpai!
  • You have an item bag! Granted, you only have one item: the Coin Purse.
  • The Coin Purse lets you use money to bribe enemy ponpai into lowering their hp! It's $5 for 5 hp, but every time you use it, you'll end up spending $5 more than last time. But don't worry, the damage will increase as well!
  • Oh yeah, you have money! You gain $100 after every battle. Right now it can only be spent on the coin purse.
  • There's a bestiary where you can look at all the ponpai you've seen in battle! For the sake of this prototype, your own ponpai don't count towards the bestiary.
  • Damage taken will carry over between fights! If you need to heal, just use the green square in the overworld!

And there's also a bunch of little things, like the personalised hp bars. I hope you enjoy!
